Introduction
When we look at the aggressive and violent behavior of so many, many questions we ask. Why do we dothat? Under what conditions? Does it affect violence on television? What factors promote aggression? In this paper I will discuss the fact that promote aggression, focusing on childhood aggression.

Aggression is defined as behavior that tries to hurt or offend someone, either through insults or hurtful comments or physically, through beatings, rape, injury, etc. The keyword to define aggressionis therefore intended to damage, and is also the one that differentiates it from other types of violence, in which the reason may be, for example, assertiveness or obtain supremacy and is defined as physical or psychological coercion exerted to force a person to do any act against his will.

Types of aggression
Sometimes the damage is violated with no other motive than to cause such damage, like hitting a person carried away by anger after an insult. In this case called emotional or hostile attack. But when damage occurs to get something in return, called instrumental aggression.

Do nothing at all could be considered also a third type of aggression, called passive aggression, when the aim is to harm someone. For example, they do not tell about her back a car that could run him over.In these cases the hostility manifested in an indirect and non-violent. It is more common in the workplace, but also occurs in other social and intimate relationships. An example would be "forget" to do something voluntarily. So when a co-worker in a big hurry asks us to give them a report, we "forget" to do it, what is a good fight the boss (which is what actually we wanted).

Whose often usethis type of passive aggression are usually people with resentment toward authority figures and their assertiveness problems. They cannot tackle a problem face to face directly, so they resort to indirect ways of dealing with anxiety and frustration they feel.

The origin of the aggression.
The society has a strong influence in shaping these behaviors differently according to different cultures(For example, in the West most people prefer to strike back, while in China prefer to retire). Also, each individual has the ability to exercise control even on behaviors or motivations with greater biological conditioning, such as hunger (in the case of diets) or sleep, we decided to spend the whole night awake.

What triggers the aggression?
The different ways of showing aggressive behavioror not, depends on how people perceive or interpret an event or situation. If a push is perceived as deliberate and hostile, are more likely to react aggressively.

For instrumental aggression, it is more likely when we see it as potentially dangerous for us. There are several factors that can lead to increased aggressive behavior. One of them is to think that aggression is easy or it has beenused successfully in the past.

There are also differences between the sexes, when men are more aggressive than women. The aggression seems easier and less risky for men, and tends to see it as less dangerous. The differences in education and biological characteristics may also be influencing these differences between sexes.

In emotional aggression, rewards and costs matter little and oftenfeel anger at perceived provocation may be the trigger for violence.
As said, the perception of events is important and sometimes aggression occurs without others being able to recognize the reason because their interpretations of the situation may be different and not assume for them a source of anger.

The main cause of aggression occurs because any negative feelings can cause aggression....
