Melinda's Physical and Psychological Problems
Melinda was a girl with a very big problem, she has to deal with her past. After being raped she has to deal with some psychological problemslike depression and sense of helplessness. But that also brought her physical problems such as inability to concentrate and listlessness. In the following paragraph I will write about thepsychological problems she deal with.

After she was raped she got four main psychological problems. The first problem she has to deal with was the fear of being threatened. First she says "I couldn'ttell anybody" (pg.183). Andy Evans "IT" ask her some questions about Rachelle were she was afraid (pg.161). Then she face the problem of sense of not being believed. She was talking with her friendRachelle when she was telling her everything about Andy Evans and Rachelle told her "Liar"(pg.184). That was such a problem than even his best friend called her liar. They never believed her and theyblame her for others actions. When she was confessing all to Rachelle she told her that she didn't call the cops for the party to stop, it was because she was raped (pg.183). Rachelle told her sorrybecause they couldn't be friends (pg.182). The last psychological problem she had was to deal with the sense of helplessness. She said "I called 911 because i need help"(pg.136). There is the partwhere she talk about the call she made to the cops (pg.183). In the following paragraph I will write about her physical problems.

She also deal with a lot of physical problems. The first onewas sleep disruption. There is one part were she talks about the day she get back to her home and she said "I didn't sleep" (pg.72). Then she had repeating nightmares (pg.161-162).The second physicalproblem she had was the inability to concentrate. She received her report card of the second marking period (pg.92).
