Abstract

The main topic of this paper is the contrast between bothlanguages Spanish and English in which our main topic is focus on the Demonstratives. It will discuss the main importants and relevant information about them, emphasizing the uses, meaning, and structure of them when are used in both cases. Getting this information, we will use an analysis method called "contrastive analysis" to find out what are the problems presented for a Spanish speaker to learnEnglish language and vice versa, in order to get a general conclusion of these similarities and dissimilarities and if it is exist a difference between both languages.



Introduction

We all know that between Spanish and English there are lots of differences either lexical, grammar, phonologically, etc. To establish their main differences is very difficult if there is not a good method whichhelp to analyse them.
In this paper, we will carry out a contrastive analysis, which is a systematic study of a pair of languages with a view to identifying their structural differences and similarities, in this case between English and Spanish which will focus on the dissimilarities of the Demonstratives, distinguishing its two types: Demonstratives Pronouns and Adjectives Pronouns.Demonstratives is not a clever theme within analysis, is for this reason we wanted to deepen this issue and show students and teachers that no matter how simple they may have, they have many edges which may help explain and understand the function that they fulfill.
