CROHN’S DISEASE DEFINITION
Crohn's disease is a disease that affects the lining of a person's digestive tract. Is considered to be an inflammatory bowel disease. Crohn's disease causes the digestivetract lining to become inflamed, and this inflammation can move down into the deep tissue layers. It may be painful and disabling, and, at its worst, it can cause dangerous complications.

UNIT 8ACTION IN SEQUENCE

The Crohn´s disease
• First present abdominal pain and cramping
• Then severe bouts of diarrhea. The diarrhea may or may not be bloody. The nature of the diarrhea in Crohn'sdisease depends on the part of the small intestine or colon involved
• Then the pain and digestive effects can cause in Crohn's disease sufferers often have a reduced appetite.
• As soon as theperson have diarrhea, can present fever.
• And then they may also notice blood when they have bowel movements because the inflamed tissue in their digestive tract can bleed when food passes through.• And finally the person present anemia in the worst case.
However the disease never goes away, only can be treated.

CAUSE:
The exact cause of Crohn's disease remainsunknown.
* Current theories suggest that genetics, environment, diet, blood vessel abnormalities, and/or even psychosocial factors cause Crohn's disease.
* Probably the most popular theory is thatCrohn's disease is caused by the immune system overreacting to infection by a virus or bacterium.
* Crohn's disease apparently is not caused by emotional distress.
* Crohn's diseasedefinitely runs in families. People who have Crohn's disease may have an inherited predisposition to abnormal immunologic response to one or more provoking factors.
* Smoking and use of the acne medicationare also believed to increase the risk.
