Difficult Time

  What was the most difficult time in your life, and why? How did your perspective on life change as a result of this difficulty? 

I don’t think there would be a moment in life when you wontfeel frustrated and have difficulty in your life, more importantly you would have a lot of those difficult times, but having this type of moments just make you stronger to find the strength to learnfrom it and move on. For me that moment was when my family decided to move to the United States, I couldn’t believe it and I didn’t want to move to another country with a new culture and language.When I finally accept that I was moving, that was somewhat difficult to do, knowing that my old home were close but the hardest part was leaving all behind, friends, family and part of my childhoodmemories. I was able to survived to fact of me leaving everything that I love on the other side, but my next challenge was to learn a whole new language in the less time possible, I didn’t have time towaste and that obstacle wasn’t going to stop me. When we start school my sister and I struggle a lot to do well in the classes because we didn’t know a lot of English but the dedication of my sisterto learn was more than a reason for me to don’t give up that easily. Some of my teachers were really supportive and caring for us, and they were always there for us to help us when we most needed itthem. Dedication makes it all better for us and we were able to learn English in about two years. Also my parents were always supportive and they told us that we could do it and that only we have tobelieve in our selves.
Now that seven years have gone by and I don’t regret making this decision and I truly believe it was the best decision that I have made because I understand that coming to thiscountry was the best for me.
