Dinosaurs:
Dinosaurs are a diverse group of animals of the clade Dinosauria. They first appeared during the Triassic period, approximately 230 million years ago, and were the dominant terrestrialvertebrates for 135 million years, from the beginning of the Jurassic (about 200 million years ago) until the end of the Cretaceous (65.5 million years ago).
Although the word dinosaur means "terriblelizard” Through the first half of the 20th century, before birds were recognized to be dinosaurs, most of the scientific community believed dinosaurs to be sluggish and cold-blooded. Most research in1970, has indicated that ancient dinosaurs, particularly the carnivorous groups, were active animals with elevated metabolisms and numerous adaptations for social changes.But for years, scientistthought dinosaurs were big, dumd and cold blooded _ in other words just gigant reptiles.Some dinosaurs were huge.But many of them were about the size of modern day birds and dogs.Were dinosaurs warm orcold bloded? scientist are not sure yet,but they belive some are intelligent.however,some smaller dinosaurs were more intelligent than big ones.is not sure yet what killed the dinosaurs , but anasteroid hit maxicos yucatan peninsula about 65 millions years ago it created a 180kmwide crater called chicxulub.Many belive that this caused the extinction of the dinosaurs.but another possibilitys is theglobal changing or an explotion of a volcano.Finally to finish, im goint to speak about t-rex.,one of the most famous dinosaurs .
T. rex's real name, ", means "tyrant lizard king". It was aferocious carnivore that lived at the end of the Cretaceous period (about 68-65 million years ago). It hunted large herbivores or any meet.It could eat double meet tan the weight of him. It died out in thefamous K-T extinction, 65 million years ago.
T. rex had a great brain - for a dinosaur, but it's brain compairing with a human was small. T. rex needed a great brain to make it good at seeing,...
