Trafficking in Persons in Ecuador

From 2004 to 2007, ABA ROLI has led a Project to Combat Trafficking in Persons in Ecuador with funds from the US Department of State’sTrafficking in Persons office.  During the project, LALIC has worked with Ecuador’s government and NGO community to disseminate knowledge about human trafficking and to mobilize Ecuador’s government andcitizenry to combat the problem. Bueno Días. Permítanme extender a ustedes la más cordial bienvenida a (NOMBRE DELEVENTO), en el que abordaremos un tema que, por sus dimensiones y efectos, adquiere gran relevancia y actualidad en Ecuador y el mundo: la trata de seres humanos.
Para (EL GOBIERNO DEL ECUADOR, LAMUNICIPALIDAD DE CUENCA, LA FUNDACION X, ETC.) la trata de personas es un delito que afecta a los sectores más vulnerables de la población; atenta contra la dignidad y el bienestar de las víctimas y desus familias. La trata es un delito cuyo combate resulta altamente complejo al estar ligado a otras formas de delincuencia organizada transnacional.
