RESUMEN
El dolor a pesar de ser una sensación desagradable nos muestra que aun existimos y que somos parte de este mundo, definitivamente no es algo agradable. Todo lo contrario nos hace sentir angustia y sufrimiento pero es la prueba que algo en nuestro organismo no está funcionando bien.El dolor es una sensación única e individual, no hay dos personas eneste mundo que estén experimentando la misma sensación, es subjetivo por tanto no se puede medir en kilos o centímetros.Muchos de nosotros tomamos el dolor como un proceso fácil y sencillo, que solo es la causa de factores influyentes como la edad, el sexo, la cultura,…. Pero este proceso es aún más largo y fascinante para cualquiera que lo estudie.La afección frente a cualquier estimulo ya seagolpe, calor y estímulos químicos harán que se liberen sustancias como histamina (incrementa la excitabilidad de las neuronas del sistema nervioso central), bradiquinina (liberar una prostaglandina que multiplica la sensibilidad de los nervios expuestos al dolor), potasio se combinan con los nociceptores( neuronas sensitivas que se encuentran en la piel y tejidos del organismo humanoresponden ante los estímulos) e inician una transmisión nerviosa asociada al dolor. Hacen que las terminaciones nerviosas de la piel, mucosas, hueso, músculo transformen dicho estimulo en impulsos nerviosos eléctricos. Dichos impulsos viajan a través de fibras nerviosas periféricas hacia la medula espinal donde realizan sinapsis y allí se encuentran con dos tipos de fibras quienes se encargan dellevar los estímulos dolorosos tenemos fibras A quienes envían sensaciones intensas y fibras C que enviarán sensaciones poco intensas.

The pain in spite of being a disagreeable sensation shows to us that even we existed and that we are part of this world definitively is not something pleasant. All the opposite makes us feel anguish and suffering but it is the test that something in ourorganism is not working well. The pain is a unique sensation and individual, there are not two people in this world who are experiencing the same sensation, is subjective therefore is not possible to be measured in kilos or centimeters. These impulses travel through peripheral nervous fibers towards medula spinalwhere they make synapse and there they are with two types of fibers that are in charge to take the painful stimuli we have fibers To those who send intense sensations and fibers C that will send intense sensations little.
