This island has a complex culture, many religions and a wide variety of traditions.Madagascar has a main language that is not recognized all over the world, it is called Malangas. Because Madagascar its a main tourist territory they also talk other languages. Malagasy is what is calledMadagascar traditional music; this music has influences from Indonesia and Kenya. These rhythms are most of the time accompanied by the whistle, flute and valiha. Madagascar also has a number oftraditional pastimes such as sports, and a wide variety of games. Maraingy is a hand-to-hand combat that is very popular on Madagascar. It used to be a men sport, but women have recently begun to practice it.Football and rugby are also very popular. Madagascar has many traditional beliefs and also have two other world-wide know religions;that are the Christians and Muslims. The followers of Christianity are sub-divided into Roman- Catholic and Protestant, and they both have their church on Madagascar.
