The Solar System
The solar system is a planetary system of the Milky Way is one of the arms of the Orion Arm. The system is 28 thousand light years from the center ofthe Milky Way. It consists of a single star called Sol, which gives this system, plus eight planets orbiting the star: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranusand Neptune, plus a host of other smaller bodies.
