Renewable Energy
It is called renewable energy to the energy obtained virtually inexhaustible natural sources, either by the vast amount of energy they contain, or because they are able toregenerate by natural means. Among the renewable energy include wind, geothermal, hydroelectric, tidal, solar, wave, biomass and biofuels.
Alternative energy
A similar concept, but not identical is thealternative energy: alternative energy, or more precisely an alternative energy source is one that can meet the current energy or energy sources, either because of its lower polluting effect or primarilyby the possibility of renewal. By this definition, some authors include nuclear energy in alternative energy because they generate few greenhouse gases.
Energy consumption is one of the greatmeasures of progress and welfare of society. The concept of "energy crisis" occurs when energy sources from which supplies are exhausted society. An economic model like this, which operates under acontinuous growth, also requires an equally growing demand for energy.
Renewable or green
Green energy is a term that describes the energy generated from primary energy sources that respect the environment.Green energy are non-polluting renewable energy, namely, whose way of obtaining products or use issues that might affect the environment.
Currently, they are becoming more important because ofworsening the greenhouse effect and consequent global warming, accompanied by greater awareness worldwide about the problem. Also, national economies do not own or exhausted their traditional energy sources(such as oil or gas) and need to acquire these resources from other economies, seeking to avoid this energy dependence and the negative trade balance that this acquisition represents.
