MORE ECUADORIAN TOURISTS IN CHINA
Tourism in China has been increasing the last few decades. This oriental and big place has become one ofthe most visited countries in the world. Nevertheless, there is a curios detail, every year China receives more Latin American tourists than before, and the number of Ecuadorians who visit China isalso increasing. According with Yon Zu, (see interview) it is because actually, China culture is more known in America and Chinese people have more opportunities to show us their interesting andamazing culture. Therefore, the purpose of this essay is to show as many people as possible, that Chinese culture can be enjoyed for Ecuadorians, even though our cultures seem to be extremely different andkeep rising the interest of Ecuadorian people in order to visit China.
For many Ecuadorians, China was or still being an extremely different and sometimes strange country because of its citizens havea different appearance, customs, food, clothes and traditions in general. Nowadays, we have more information about that culture in order not to be afraid of it, so, many people have shown theirinterest in discovering an amusing but not strange country along with its culture. China could get it because that country has many interesting things that result so attractive for Ecuadorians and because agreat number of Chinese people are living in our country. They are completely free to express their traditions in Ecuador. As a result, we are more familiar with Chinese culture, and now the vastmajority of our society has eliminated the possible wrong stereotypes that we might have had.
Ecuador is a small country, but our biodiversity is very huge. Now, if we consider China is, the fourthbiggest country in the world with 9.596.961 km2, can you have an idea of the inmense history, demographic, and socio-cultural diversity that China can have.
