My essay will examine the cognitive processes of attention, language, and problem solving. This doccument will explain the purpose of each cognitive processes. This paper will also summarize and evaluatethe studies of these cognitive processes and also the research methodology that they focus on. Cognitive processes are very important for human behavior. It is about the knowledge and the way people use his or her knowledge. Cognitive processes affect individuals in everyday life, often occurring within fractions of a second.
EXPLAINING THE PURPOSE OF EACH COGNITIVE PROCESS
Language is usedto communicate feelings, thoughts, and ideas effectively. The use of language begins at a very young age, some would agree before birth. Language is spoken in a mixture of techniques from oral, to sign language to body language. In language there is a collection of terms, which is related to a particular topic, and the collection of terms is identified as a lexicon. Language and lexicon mutuallycombined because of the recollection of vocabulary or verbal communication, which transmits to cognitive psychology because the occurrence of lexical judgments in processing vocabulary in the cognitive mind. The main aspects of verbal communication are communicative, uninformed, controlled, generative, and self-motivated. The communicative part of language is the speech between two individuals. Theuniformed part is the relationship between verbal communication and their meaning. The controlled part of verbal communication is the term "used to illustrate the way in which an individual expresses a sentence". The generative part is the limitless fundamental vocabulary used to express one's self, and the self-motivated part is the term "used to explain the ever-changing English language". Eachmain feature hold their own important place in verbal communication no matter what language is spoken. Language formation and processing in cognitive psychology includes words, phonemes, sentences, and text. Phonemes are phonetics, which is the study of how verbal communication sounds are created. Words are the phonemes that fit together to produce 600,000 words in the English language. Sentencesare the grammatical arrangements of words that help individuals assemble thoughts when trying to verbalize or write. Text occurs when one applies a cluster of interrelated sentences to form a article that clarifies a topic. These main features of verbal communication explain how individual discover language.
Attention refers to monitoring and processing information, which is used daily.Attention is a cognitive process that lets an individual selectively focus and concentrate on one aspect of his or her surrounding and environment while disregarding others. When an individual is paying attention to something or someone, he or she is allocating resources and concentrating on that specific information. Attention is so important to human cognition because it place limits on what anindividual thinks about at the same time that it helps determine what an individual's thoughts, words, beliefs, and deeds are about at any given time. Attention is nothing but the cognitive procedure of focusing on a particular number of selected items from out surroundings while disregarding the rest of things. The distribution of doling out resources is also what is termed as attention. Numerousexamples can be cites from our daily lives like listening to just one's conversation while paying no heed to what others are saying in the same room simultaneously. Within neuroscience, psychology, and education attention still stays a subject with a huge scope of exploration.
