Introduction:
The aim of this experiment, is to measure the acceleration and velocity of a trolley, its being used a ticker tape timer, which starts to measure the acceleration after thetrolley is being released through the tramp. After the experiment has been finished, results must be showed in a graph and finally calculate the acceleration and the velocity.

Diagram:This diagram shows exactly how the experiment needs to be done.
Method:
1. Get a trolley, and stick a long piece of paper at the beginning of it, the paper needsto be connected to the ticker timer.
2. Before releasing the trolley, put on the ticker timer, afterwards release the trolley.
3. When you finished releasing the trolley, take the paperand cut it into sections of 10 (ten dots)
4. Take a clean page, paste every section beside each other.
5. Finally calculate the velocity by using your ruler, measure the distance of eachsection and then calculate it, and the acceleration.

Results:
V1: distance/time = 1.6cm / 0.2 s = 8 cm/s
V2: distance/time = 3.2cm / 0.2 s = 16 cm/sAcceleration: change in distance/time taken
16cm – 8cm / 0.2 s =40cm
V3: distance/time = 9cm / 0.2 s = 46cm
V4: distance/time = 11cm / 0.2 s =55cmAcceleration: change in distance/time taken
46cm – 55cm / 0.2 s = 45cm
Theory:
There`s only a way to continue with this experiment, this must be following correctly the formulaesfor acceleration.

Conclusion:The experiment, has been done correctly because the acceleration and velocity have been calculated, however it can existed a mistake during the experiment, which could not give exact results.
