Studies have showed that people who spend more time on Facebook spend less time studying and although every generation has had its distractions this one isconsidered a unique phenomenon. Students who used Facebook showed significant lower grade point averages, like the difference between getting an A and a B. The study also showed that the studentsappeared to be in denial about the effects on their grades.
