Futuro Simple
(Simple Future)
El Futuro Simple es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para describir acciones que se van a desarrollar en el futuro sinnecesidad de aclarar en qué momento se producirán. Su equivalente en el idioma español es el Futuro Imperfecto. Por ejemplo:
I will study the lesson. Yo estudiaré lalección.
He will travel to London. Él viajará a Londres.
They will buy a new car. Ellos comprarán un nuevo auto.
Aunque también se puede expresar el tiempo enel que se desarrollará la acción, por ejemplo:
Susan will visit her mother tomorrow.
Susan visitará a su madre mañana.
John will travel to New York the nextmonth.
John viajará a Nueva York el próximo mes.
Este tiempo verbal utiliza para su construcción el auxiliar WILL seguido del verbo principal en infinitivo. En elsiguiente cuadro veremos la conjugación del Futuro simple en sus formas afirmativa, interrogativa y negativa.
1. Affirmative Sentences (Frases afirmativas)Ejemplos:
I will call you tonight. (Te llamaré esta noche.)
She will arrive late. (Llegará tarde.)
They will be happy to see you. (Estarán felices deverte.)
2. Negative Sentences (Frases negativas)
Ejemplos:
I will not ring (call) you tonight. (No te llamaré esta noche.)
She will notarrive late. (No llegará tarde.)
They will not be happy to see you. (No estarán felices de verte.)
3. Interrogative Sentences (Frases interrogativas)
Ejemplos:Will you ring me tonight? (¿Me llamarás esta noche?)
Will she arrive late? (¿Llegará tarde?)
Will they be happy to see you? (¿Estarán felices de verte.)
