Windows® Explorer Enhancements
Search not working in Windows 2000 DWF files cannotbe searched with the Windows Explorer search command in Windows 2000. The workaround is to include an “!” in front of the search string. For example, if you are searching for the word “Engineering” inDWF files, enter “!Engineering” in the search field. Autodesk ID # 688409
Drag and Drop
View problems in Word and Internet Explorer A DWF dragged into Microsoft® Word does not save with thecorrect view. This is a limitation of Microsoft Word: To save the correct view, exit Run mode and go back to Design mode. The correct zoomed view will save. Autodesk ID # 695990
Embedded in PowerPoint InSlide Show view, a double click on the DWF file advances the slide instead of opening the Viewer. Autodesk ID # 696902
To make the Viewer available in Slide Show view,
1. In PowerPoint inNormal View: Choose Insert > Object.... The Insert Object dialog box opens.
2. With the Create New option selected, from the Object type: list, select Autodesk DWF Viewer Control and click OK toinsert the object.
3. Right-click the object and select Autodesk DWF Viewer Control Object > Properties.
4. On the Source Path tab, type the DWF file path and file name.
