PRÓLOGO
Este es un material didáctico preparado por el Mtro. Luiz Marlio Silva, profesor de inglés,y ha sido creado para servir como una guía.
Que quede bien claro que esta Gramática Básica, es simplemente esto: lo básico. No es hecha para reemplazar cualquier otro libro o gramática. Sin embargo, no deja de ser una buena herramienta de aprendizaje para ‘el inglés de tronco común’ y/o de carrera.
El inglés es conocido mundialmente como el idioma comercial. Aprenderlo puede serconsiderado como una gran inversión y efectivamente le abrirá muchas puertas, ampliando sus horizontes. Gramaticalmente, es muchísimo más fácil que el español.
El profesor Luiz Márlio Silva es Lic. en Negocios Internacionales y Administración por la Universidad Estatal de San José y Maestría en Literatura Española por la misma universidad, en Ciencias Policiacas por el De Anza College, en Cupertino ytambién posee un Diplomado con especialización en Leyes de Migración por la Universidad de Derecho Licoln de San Francisco, todas en California, E.U.A. donde por más de 35 años se desempeño como Perito Intérprete y Traductor Judicial Acreditado en Tribunales Americanos.
Es Perito Intérprete-Traductor Oficial avalado por la Corte Superior del Estado de California y por el Palacio de Justicia delEstado de Veracruz para los idiomas Inglés-Español-Portugués

It is to be understood that this Basic Grammar is simply it, very basic. It is not intended to replace any other grammar or book. However, it is still a good learning tool for general Englisheducation.
Professor Luiz Márlio Silva earned a Diploma in law with specialization in Immigration by the Licoln Law University in San Francisco. He also holds a degree in International Business and Administration from the San José State University, San José, a Master’s in Spanish Literature, and a degree in Law Enforcement by De Anza College, Cupertino, all in California, U.S.A., where forover 35 years he performed as a Certified Court Interpreter. He is also registered with the Hall of Justice of the State of Veracruz as an Expert Interpreter-Translator for English-Spanish-Portuguese.
English is known worldwide as a commercial language. To learn it could be considered as a great investment and it will surely open many doors and widen your horizon. Grammatically speaking, it ismuch less difficult than Spanish.

THE RULE OF CAPITALS – REGLA PARA EL USO DE MAYÚSCULAS
1. Every entire sentence should begin with a capital.
2. Proper names, and adjective derived from these, should begin with a capital.
3. All appellations of the Deity should begin with a capital.
4. Official and Honorary Titles begin with a capital.
5. Every line ofpoetry should begin with a capital.
6. Titles of books and the heads of their chapters and divisions begin with a capital.
7. The pronoun, I, and the exclamation, Oh, are always capitals.
8. The days of the week, and the months of the year, begin with capitals.
9. Every quotation should begin with a capital letter.
10. Names of religious denominations begin with capitals.
11. In preparingaccounts, each item should begin with a capital.
12. Any word of very special importance may begin with a capital.

1. Toda oración debe empezar con letra mayúscula.
2. Nombres propios y los adjetivos derivados de los mismos, deben empezar con
mayúscula.
3. Todas las menciones a Dios deben empezar con mayúscula.
