THE CALCULATOR
One of the things I always find amazing is the invention of the calculator because it makes things easier for students and for people who have to work with numbers, it helps to savetime that you can spend in other things.
The first calculators were the Abacos often constructed as a wooden frame with beads sliding on wires. Then William Oughtred invented the slide rule in 1622.The first calculator machine was invented by Blaise Pascal, a French mathematician in 1642, it could only add and subtract, it had a lot of figures that were from 1 to 10 and was known as thePascaline but the problem was that it was very heavy and big so he decided to invent other in 1649 but this time it was very expensive and was a commercial failure. The German mathematician Leibniz WhilelmGotfried. The Arithmometer of Thomas of Colmar, a calculating machine was portable and easy to use that responded to the accounting needs of business and public administration at thetime. These features and good performance led to the calculator became the first successfully marketed. The first model appeared in 1822 and was making well into the twentieth century. Invented a calculator machinein 1693, which exceeded that of Pascal. While the latter could only add and subtract, the Leibniz could multiply by automatic repetition of the sum, and divide by automatic repetition of the subtraction.in 1908  appeared  a new Machine  that  could  automatically make divisions Curt Her stark in 1948 was almost a precision  timepiece  with a very high manufacturingcosts, and therefore a very high market prices.
Then it came the greatest invention in 1970 by Texas Instruments, it was very similar to the calculators that we use now.
As a result I think that life of students without calculator will be sodifficult because they would spend a lot of time doing their mathematical calculations.
