The mighty Minotaur, a mythical creature, protects a secret temple hidden deep inside a labyrinth. Be the first to lead your heroes to the temple, avoiding the Minotaur and cleverly placing walls to block your opponents.

Secret Temple (colored area) Heroes Spaces LEGO® Dice

Aim of the game
2 players: The first to get two of your three heroes to their colored area at the secret temple in the center of the board wins the game. 3-4 players: The first to get one of your three heroes to their colored area at the secret temple in the center of the board wins the game.

Setting up the game
Before you startplaying, build the game using the LEGO® building instructions provided in the set. Building the game teaches you more about the pieces and how you can use them. This makes it se easier to rebuild or change the rules of your game later on. Build the LEGO Dice using the colored sides shown below:

Before each new game, reset the game board to match h the picture above, or the image on the lastpage of the building instructions. Use the stencil provided to make this quick and easy.

This set includes a tool to help you take tiles off the LEGO Dice

Starting with the youngest player, each player selects a colored team of three heroes.

PLAY
Playing the game
The youngest player starts first. Play then continues clockwise. Each turn a player rolls the LEGO® Dice and does one of thefollowing:

S Sides with numbers
M Move your hero the number of spaces matching the number rolled on the L LEGO Dice. Heroes cannot stand on top of other heroes or climb over them. O Only one hero can be moved per turn. If you are leaving the starting block the hero starts on any adjacent green space. t

W Wall
M Move one gray blocking wall from the edge of the game board and place it in thelabyrinth OR move a blocking wall already in the labyrinth to a different position. You decide where to place the blocking wall. Heroes and the Minotaur cannot jump over blocking walls. Players are NOT allowed to block all the routes from the starting block of a player to the secret temple in the center.

M Minotaur
M Move the Minotaur eight spaces. The Minotaur starts its movement on any greenspace adjacent to the secret temple OR from its current a location if it did not start from the secret temple. If the Minotaur runs into a hero while moving its eight spaces, the hero is returned to its starting block, and the Minotaur returns to the secret temple in the center of the board. Only the colored starting blocks and the colored area in the center of the board are safe from the Minotaur.Moving pieces

One ● = 1 space. Example: player moves three spaces.

Heroes and the Minotaur cannot be moved diagonally.
