OPS

Ops was associated with the earth and fertility, also she was the god Saturn’s wife, who reigned the well-known ‘Golden age’.
Usually, she is representatedseated and holding either a scepter or an ear of corn, which are her main attributes.
The latin word ‘Ops’ can be translated to many different adjectives like ‘abundance’, ‘property’, ‘wealth’ or‘gifts’, but is also associated with the word ‘work’, especially in regard to farm and actions of plowing and sowing.
All this activities were associated, at that time, to sacred characters.
Leyend tellsthat the worship to Ops was established on earth by God Sabino Tatio.
The feast held in her honor, fell on the 10th of August and, in addition, on September 19th was taking place Opalia and theOpinconsivia which were other two great celebrations at that time.
JUNO

The roman equivalent of Hera, queen of the Greek gods, goddess of marriage and wife of Zeus, was her, Juno.
She was the daughterof Ops and Saturn, Jupiter was her brother and he was married to Minerva, this fact was considered by the romans as a major deity in their religious pantheon.
She and Jupiter gave birth to Mars,Vulcan and Eileithyia.
Her main attributes can be summarized in those ones: ‘Interduca’ (The one who carrys the bride to the marriage), ‘Domiduca’ (The one who takes the bride to her new home), ‘Cinxia’(The one who lose the bride’s belt).
However it should be mentioned that some of these attributes are probably part of poetic descriptions.

HEBE

Hebe appears in the Greek mythology as thepersonification of youth. She is daughter of Zeus and Hera, and therefore, sister of Ares and Eileithyia.
Among her activities, she used to dance with muses while Apollo was playing his lyre.
Sometraditions later told that she had been mother of two children with Apollo.
Her equivalent in greece mythology was Juventas, who was worshiped from early times. Her capitol was built before the...
