Although the institution ofmarriage has been a constant presence in our world for millennia, these days there is much debate about the importance it has in modern society, In light of this there are many points of view about, what is marriage, What does it mean, And if it’s really important in modern society.
The reason why marriage has endured for so long is that it’s the only institution that allows two people toestablish a very strong and enduring relationship that is fully backed by the law and society as a whole.
But in our society the vast majority of people see marriage as a primordial act in their life,though some does not give much importance. Young people today aim to marry after having a career and a steady job. Although in our country the percentage of couples in marital union free is twice thepercentage of married couples, the marriage is still important in the upper class of society.
In recent years marriage has go from being something totally essential to start a family as it wassocially accepted, to a rather personal commitment that isn’t necessary for living together and building relationships, and family ties. currently living together, leaving aside the marriage, has increasedsubstantially, some people have chosen to live together and have children without passing through the marriage, since they feel that marriage is just a title that says that there’s a link between twopeople, and the most important thing in a relationship is the love they have for each other, and the formality of marriage does not affect that.
