Political Stability in Latin America

The people of the Republic of Ecuador is concerned about Latin America`s instability due the main affected are the undeveloped countries. The democracy is notbeing respected and valued by politicians, because there is no transparency or constant observation on the works carried, and in order to make things right Ecuador believes that countries shouldpromote democracy by having a strong democratic culture, real separation of powers and blocking the continuity of presidents when they have committed crimes, law violations and no political amnesty.

Themajor problem affecting Latin America is that the few people who are trying to corrupt democracy by eliminating the political institutions and modifying the constitutions from other Latin Americancountries, are using and making in name of the democracy things as an illegal referendum, just to perpetuate themselves in the power and establish socialism of the 21st century which is a fraud becausethe only benefits will be the ones in the power.

Now, Ecuador would like to clarify what Honduras real problematic is by explaining the main article in Honduras’s constitution which states whyManuel Zelaya was exiled from the country and ceased in his functions.

Article-293.No citizen who has already served as head of executive branch can be president or vice-president. Whoever whoviolates this law or proposes its reform, as well as those who support such violation directly or indirectly, will immediately cease in his functions and will be unable to hold any public office for aperiod of 10 years.

Clearly set that there has not been a coup d’état due, that Manuel Zelaya violated the Honduran constitution by introducing an illegal referendum that proposes to change theconstitution so he can remain president for the next period.
