The Simple Present tense is used to describehabitual actions that occur with some frequency and wakes no referent to whether it is happening at present. Meets a set of rules when speaking in 3rd person singular, these are:
1. A verb is added “s”in the end.
Example: You think
He thinks
She Brings
2. If the verbs in the letter (s – sh – ch – x – o) is added “es” in the end.
Example: to finish -finishes
to fix - fixes
to teach - teaches
to do - does
to pass - passes
3. If the verb ends in the letter (Y) and precedes aconsonant is deleted (Y) and added “I + es”
Example: to study – studies
to carry – carries
to worry – worries
to try – tries
4. If the verbends in the letter (Y) and is preceded by a vowel is added “s”
Example: to pay – pays
to buy – buys
to replay – replays
to say – says
