As you know, the Harry Potter books are some of Paco's favourite novels. This is an interview with the author, J.K. Rowling. Read the conversation and then answer the questions below.

Journalist - You are English but you live in Scotland, don't you?
J.K. Rowling - Yes, I have lived in Edinburgh for many yearsnow. I think it's since 1994. Yes, that's it. December 1994. And I still live there.
Journalist - How did you start writing the Harry Potter series?
J.K. Rowling - It was on a train trip from Manchester to London in 1990.
Journalist - Have you ever written a different genre?
J.K. Rowling - Not really, I've been writing fantasy stories since I was a child. And then I used to read them to mysister.
Journalist - Has any of your characters anything to do with your own life?
J.K. Rowling - Sure, for example, the girl Hermione is slightly based on me.
Journalist - You have just finished your seventh and final Harry Potter book.
J.K. Rowling - Well, yes, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released on 21 July 2007. I'm so happy because it has been a great success again.Journalist - Are you planning to write another Harry Potter book?
J.K. Rowling - No, not really. I've been thinking about it but... I don't think so.
Journalist - It's a pity. Your readers will regret it. They love the plot!
J.K. Rowling - In fact, I would like to write the next books under a pseudonym but I suppose everyone would find it out easily.
Journalist - Have you already startedwriting another book?
J.K. Rowling - Well, I never stop writing. I haven't finished anything yet but I would like to publish something soon.
Journalist - The film versions of the book have been very successful too. They are probably some of the most successful films in the United Kingdom.
J.K. Rowling - Yes, the actors, the directors, etc have done a great job.
Journalist - You stated two mainconditions in the contract, didn't you?
J.K. Rowling - Yes. We had an agreement: I wanted the film to be entirely British and also faithful to the original.
Journalist - We need to finish our interview now. I hope to see you soon and I wish you a great success. Thank you very much.
J.K. Rowling - It was a pleasure.
