This is a review for the following topics, you need to study and recognize all the tenses, remember that in the test you are going to identify sentences with itscorrespondent tense. At the end of the explanation you will find a similar exercise like the test.
SIMPLE PRESENT
Affirmative form
Subject Base form of the verb Complement
I use my computer everyday.
She uses her computer everyday.
We use our computer everyday.
To make the affirmative form you have to use the base form of the verb with the following pronouns I, we,you, they, but you have to add “s” or “es” to the verb with the singular pronouns he, she, it.
Negative form
Subject Auxiliary + not Base form of the verb Complement
I do not use my computer everyday.
She does not use her computer everyday.
We do not use our computer everyday.
To make the negative sentences use an auxiliary verb, use do withI, we, you, they, but use does with he, she, it. Do not use “s” or “es” in the base form of the verb.
Interrogative form

Do I use my computer everyday?

Do We use our computer everyday?
SIMPLE PAST
Affirmative form
Base form of the verb + d or edSubject or use an irregular verb Complement

We ate hamburgers every weekend.
To make the affirmative form you have to add d or ed to the base form of the verb or use an irregular verb.
Negative form
Subject Auxiliary + not Base formof the verb Complement
I did not use my computer everyday.
She did not use her computer everyday.
We did not use our computer everyday.
We did not eat hamburgers every weekend.
To make the negative sentences use an auxiliary verb, use did for all the subject.
Interrogative form

PRESENT PROGRESSIVE

To make the affirmative form you need to use the verb “to be” plus the base form with the ending “-ing”.
Negative form
Subject verb “to be” Base form + ing complement
I am not using the computer.
She is not using the computer.
We are not using the computer.To make the negative form you just add not between the verb “to be” and the verb with the ending “-ing”.

PAST PROGRESSIVE
