* Needs to be understood, and precise.
* Relation between variables must be clear and logic.
* Variables needs to be measurable and observable.
*What is a variable?
Something that can vary.
* What is the difference between a hypothesis of investigation, a null hypothesis, and an alternative hypothesis? and examples of each one.
ResearchHypothesis.- Proposition of a relation between 2 or more variables. (The monthly average of mental diseases cases treated in the hospital is greater than 50).
Null Hypothesis.- The opposite ofresearch. (The monthly average of mental diseases cases treated in the hospital is less than 50).
Alternative Hypothesis.- Is the an alternative proposition to null and research. (The monthly average ofmental diseases cases treated in the hospital is 50).
* What is a research design?
Plan or conceives strategy that tries to answer the research question.
* What is the difference between anexperimental and non experimental research design?
Experimental manipulate the variable and the non experimental doesn’t manipulate the variable.
* What is the difference between a pre-experiment,a true experiment and a cuasi-experiment?
In the pre-experiment you have minimal control on the independent variable and in the true experiment you have full control of it. The difference between thetrue and cuasi experiment is that the subjects of the group to study aren’t selected randomly.
* What is the difference between a transactional and a longitudinal no experimental researchdesign.
That in the transactional you collect data once and in longitudinal you collect data twice or more.
