Book: Pele: a biography by James S. Haskins
Prediction: I predict that some football team scout is goingto see his skills, joy and passion for football and they’re going to hire him.
I also predict that while Pele is playing football andthe scout of a team is watching him, he is going to have an serious injury in the game and he is not going to be able to play for a fewmonths, the scout will realize that he is no good for the team that he is represents and the team is not going to hire him.
Visualize: Ivisualize Pele dribbling all the players of the other team and scoring every goal he can.
I can also visualize Pele in the schoolmissing every class of the school just to play football with his friends.
Connect: I connect this to my life because I love football justlike him.
I connect Pele dribbling everybody and scoring to my real life, because I can do the same thing in my real life.
Clarify: Ican’t clarify anything
Questions: Why doesn’t Pele get a tryout instead of waiting for a scout?
Why did his father move from thefirst club?
Evaluate: I really like this book because is narrating the story of one of the biggest footballers in the world and is veryinteresting.
I like it because is narrating how the really poor people of Brazil play and manage how to play football in the street.
