Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Testaments Wilde was born in Dublin, son of a literary surgeon of eyes and a hostess and writer (acquaintance under the pseudonym of "Speranza") .Después of studying in theTrinity College of Dublin, Wilde went to Magdalen College, Oxford, Where it obtained a double master and there gained the prize Newdigate a poem Ravenna. Whereas in Oxford it became famous by hisextravagant ingenuity, the talent, the captivation and aesthetics, and this reputation soon they gained a place him in the London company. Bunthorne, the carnal Poet about Gilbert and Sullivan's Patienceopera was thought extensively to be Wilde's cartoon (though actually it was conceived as Rosetti's parody) and Wilde seems that consciously it was worked in this figure. His writing and particularly hisworks are epigramatic and ingeniously and Wilde was not afraid of shock. This period was chased also by the accusations on his personal life principally stimulated by the Marquess of Queensberry'sfierce opposition to the intense friendship between Wilde and his son, Lord Alfred. These accusations it culminated in 1895 in prison for crimes of homosexual Wilde. During his stay in the jail, Wilde wasdeclared in bankruptcy, and after his putting at liberty it was living of the generosity of the friends. From the jail he wrote a long and bitter letter to Lord Alfred, part of which was publishedlater like Of Profundis, but after his liberation, did not write anything, but the poem The ballad of Reading's jail.
