Machu Pichu es el nombre que recibe a un antiguo poblado andino inca de piedra construido a mediados del siglo XV en la vertiente oriental de los Andes centrales. Fue declaradoPatrimonio de la Humanidad en 1983 y entró a formar parte de las siete maravillas del mundo moderno en 2007.

2. Venecia (Italia)
Conocida como la ciudad de los canales (por el amplio número de ellos que contiene), está situada al nordeste de Italia. Está compuesta por 120 islas unidas por 455 puentes y dividida por 177 canales. En laactualidad, la ciudad afronta una grave amenaza por las inundaciones, el cambio climático y una subida en el nivel del mar, podría sumergir la ciudad.

4. Torre Eiffel (Francia)
Es una estructura de hierro pudelado diseñada por el ingeniero francés Gustave Eiffel situada en el centro del Campo de Marte, junto al río Senna en la capital francesa. Con casi 7 millones de visitantes se convirtió en 2007 en el monumento más visitado del mundo y con sus325 metros de altura, fue la construcción más alta del mundo durante 40 años hasta 1930, cuando se construyó en edificio Chrysler en Nueva York. Es sin duda el mayor símbolo de Francia.
