Maria Montessori created teaching material to develop and implement the method with a goal that children exercise their five senses: sight, touch, taste, hearing and smell.In general all materials have a degree of four values:
• Functional value
• Experimental values
• Value of structure
• Value Relationship
The Montessori materials are structural andexperimental value for the child given the opportunity to experiment and develop their senses in their own way. It is a material that can be used to teach and all students, individually and as group Iin a structured environment, which encourages me to trust themselves, and ensures freedom of speech communication, the exchange of ideas, learning of culture and morality.

Montessori materials introduce children to different worlds: science, geography, music and art. For this reason there are materials specific to each area.
To make these possible, materialsshould be presented grouped by function and needs of students.
Some of these teaching materials are the stories, the numerical rods, cubes… any many more.
The materials are very important because theymake things that the child itself, stimulating the brain and preparing his intellect.
As we have seen the character of the method is the child but the teacher who will promote the development oftheir capacities and values, to get into a good person capable of coping with life itself, to be self-sufficient, independent and free.
The teacher should follow a technique by Maria Montessori called"the lesson three times"
• The first time, proposed to her child ASOC sensory impression with the name of quality work. For example: if large or small, thick or thin.
• The second time, thechild recognizes the object corresponding to name. For example: bring the child know what is and what a great little.
• The third time, the child must remember the name and qualities corresponding...
