The Jewish people throughout his history always have to live with the Palestains together, but they never have learned to live in community. The Arab-Israeli conflict it’s between the land of Israel and his Arab’s neighbors.

In the beginning it was a dispute between two national movements for the same territory. These two movements were very different.The Palestinian Arab movement was a classic of a Middle Eastern country, fighting for their freedom and the defense of their lands. The other was a European movement and colonial inspiration that wanted to reunify the dispersed Jews in the land of their ancestors, and was totally outside the reality of the place.

For centuries the Jewish people lived divided in different countries, especially inEurope. Almost all the Europeans were Christians and they often forced the Jews to live in separated areas. At the end of the XIX century the “Political Zionist” they demanded their own state explaining that they wanted to became Palestine in the center of the religious and the culture of the Jews.

Britain in 1820, who after the First World War and the collapse of the Ottoman Empire isassigned the mandate of the Palestine Land. The British promised Palestinians concede independence to their territories under British rule at the end of the world war. Apart from allowing the expulsion of the Turks in the years 1917 and 1918 any other promises was fulfilled.

During the war, Zionist groups beganto migrate in large groups to the land of Palestine, in 1919 were less than 19%, but in 1939 were occupying 28% and in 1948 the 34% of the population.

Zionist organizations spoke of the creation of a Jewish state in all Palestine; this generates a rejection of the Palestinian population, because there was fear of losing their land in 1920 so the Anti-Zionist groups decided to attack the citiesof Jerusalem and Jaffa.

One of the factors that allowed the creation of the new state of Israel was the acquisition and colonization of Palestinian land, due to the immigration favored by Britain. With the deployment of the Nazi regime migration of Jews to Palestine had a giant increase; around 62.000 Jews entered Palestine annually. The fear of the Palestinians to Jewish domination was so bigthat was the main cause of the Arab revolt that erupted in 1936 and continued until 1939.

After the development and the finish of the Second World War, the world felt sorry for the Jews for the terrible torture he were submitted. Many victims of Nazi concentration camps were able to enter Palestine illegally. Zionist became stronger and putting more pressure all the days to get all theholocaust survivors took refuge in Palestine.

The fighting on both sides between Palestinians and Jews to the right of a territory and the right to live there was becoming worse and growing more. So Britain handed the problem to the newly created UN because they saw that this situation was got out of his hands.

In 1947, a special committee formed by eleven nations to study the issue recommendedthat Palestine be portioned in two different states, one Jewish and one Palestine, while Jerusalem would be of the UN. The UN sent a commission to the country that announced that the most of population was Palestinian, however the UN decided that Palestine be portioned in two states.
