Journal #18 10/16
Im very confident in my self and what that has done has made me tend to
either brag about myself or like to showoff. In past years ive gotten into
fight. because of this but now ive learned to control it more. At home it
dosnt affect me as much because it just means that i would wrestle my
brother. But with my friends it just tends to annoy them which is the reason
imtrying to avoid that.

Journal #19
The wife in the story we read is a very ungrateful and very bratty type of
girl because she always wants more she never is thankful for what she
has. The Husband is the story is extremely grateful for everything he has
like when the wife is making dinner when she says shes making soup shes
very sad and depressed by that but the husband is very happy and verygrateful.

Journal #20
I think material wealth should have a place under the things which are
really important. What i mean buy that is the you shouldnt put for example
your iphone infornt of your friends or family. The things that are actually
important and the things that would make you temporarily happy are very
different from eachother but sadly its hard to tell for most people what thedifference is. When someone says," Oh man I would die if i lost my
iPhone" thats not true at all! But if soemone says,"If i didnt have my
parents to take care of me id die" thats actually possible because that
actually love.
Journal #21
My idea of war is basically that id want to go to war and fight for my
country i really do. Plus id LOVE to have to the respect of an ex marine.
But thething is is that in order to do that you'd have to leave your family
and friends for about 2 years. Plus your always afraid for your life and your
chances for coming back to your family although is a good chance i still
don't like the possibility of dying. But then again id love that respect of
being a "badass". But then Again my dream is to be a mechanical
engineer not really being a marineso if i did go to the military it would be
hard for my dreams to happen.

Robin thought that kuwait was going to be crazy he thought it would be
very scary and that he would be afraid for his life. He thought all those
things about kuwait because of how close it is to iraq, he thought kuwait
would have to defend itself. And that there would be bombs everyone and
shooting. Healso thought that the actual base would be very messy and
not comfortable, but it was very nice it had a theater restraunts and even a
library.
Journal #23
Anxiety is causing robin to think of many different things, somethings may
not even make sense. He continuously thinks about what will happen and
when it will happen. Hes very curious to see how everything will turn out
and how him and hisfriends will workout together. Plus hes heard it
multiple times that hes job is one of the most important and that his job is
crucial to the success of his mission.

The song that robin hears and is by bob marly relates to him because its
alot about war and how things happen and people wondering when it will
end and what exactly will happen. The only good thing that song did isit
relaxed him alittle and just let him feel asthough he was sitting back at
home.


Journal #25
I know most on our main character robin. Robin is a pretty young
guy that dosnt talk much with his parents because they got into a
pretty big argument, so robin just talks to his uncle richie. Robin was
pretty confident about going into war he knew he'd be afraid but it
really hit him when hesaw the movie. That just showed him that war
isnt pretty though. What really freaked him out was when he saw the
little boy get shot and then the grandmother just looked at him with
complete hopelessness.
