Pride and prejudiceIn this story we can see the situation that it has lived in the England of XIX century, in which women must get married with a rich man if the want to have an enjoyable life.This introduction is very important for this story because that is the situation of a common family. Mrs Bennet has five daughters whom, in her opinion, all of them needs a rich husband, and that´s what sewants yo get; Mr Bingley is a very rich man, currently new in the neighbourhood, and he is interested in Mrs Bennet´s older girl, Jane. Mrs Bennet wants Jane to get married with Mr Bingley because she thinks that its an important opportunity for her daughter and the whole family.However, it is not easy. While Mr. Bingley is relaxed and friendly, his sisters are malicious snobs whose attitude isfostered by Mr. Darcy. He is handsome, rich and a close friend of Mr. Bingley and is insufferably proud and haughty. The Bennets are below their social status, as Mr. Darcy behaves nasty corresponding to the difference in status and is particularly bad with Elizabeth, Jane's younger sister. At the end, it is discovered that Bingley really loves jane.Everyone knows that Mr. Bingley is in love withJane. The calm temperament of Jane hides her true feelings, because its a not very hidden secret that she loves him too.Speaking with her best friend charlotte, she tell her that Jane must be more kindly if she wants to please him.Mr. Bingley sisters invited to eat, Jane, who is riding the Bigley's mansion in the rain, soaked, becomes ill and has to stay home from Bingley. Elizabeth arrives tonurse her sister and to engage in witty exchanges with Mr. Darcy. Stunned by his attraction, still staring at her, but she's supposed to be an idiot who is judging.In Longbourne,Bennet´s house, , Mr. Collins comes to visit. As he is the closest relative of Mr. Bennet, Mr. Collins will inherit the fifth after Mr. Bennet dies. Mr. Collins has decided it would be good to marry one of the Bennet girls tokeep their home, because of this, he likes Elizabeth but she hasn´t got very much steem for him.As for the youngest Bennet daughters, the militia has arrived and are ready to jump to any officer who comes for parts. They meet a charming young man named Mr. Wickham, who quickly makes friends with Elizabeth. Mr. Wickham tells Elizabeth his sad story, during which he said that all his lifeopportunities were destroyed by Mr. Darcy, and convinces her that Mr. Darcy is Evil Incarnate. Elizabeth believes everything he tells Mr. Wickham and also learns that Lady Catherine (the head of Mr. Collins) is the aunt of Mr. Darcy.

The next day, all the Bennet girls receive an invitation to a ball at Netherfield, Mr. Bingley's mansion. Elizabeth is thrilled for the opportunity to dance with Wickham andalso to see a confrontation between Mr. Darcy and Mr. Wickham. Mr. Wickham did not attend the dance but Mr. Darcy asks for a dance. Mr. Collins also asks him to dance but his style is grotesque and even painful. The rest of his family is embarrassed too: Mrs. Bennet said that Mr. Bingley will probably ask for the hand of Mary Jane and demonstrates his lack of musical talent. Lydia and Kittycursimente flirt with the soldiers.The next morning , Mr Collins wants Elizabeth to marry with him, but she refuse him lots of times, and he doesn´t understand that she doesn´t likes him. At the end he asked charlotte (Elizabeth´s "friend") if she wants to marry him, and charlotte, that was all the time searching a man who wants to be with her, she accepts the proposition.Elizabeth is shocked when helearns of her engagement. He can not believe that prudence would allow Charlotte to marry a man so ridiculous. However, Charlotte explains that it is a single woman who has no perspective and prefer to have their own home rather than live with their parents forever.Later, a letter from Mrs Bingley has arrived,and says that the group has gone to London Bingley. Ms. Bingly implies that Mr. Bingley...
