Dear SV-Members, Dear Mister President, Dear Members of the Board, Dear Chairmen of the Regional Committees, Dear Gentlemen of the Administrative and Economic Committee, Dear Mister Director, In accordance with the scrupulous openness required by the SV, and according to the invitation by the VicePresident Heiko Grube to giveassistance to the Club with proposals (Strukturkommission - reforms), I would like to submit my study on revenues to you today. It will certainly not have escaped your attention that the Club and our beloved Shepherd Dog have recently come under heavy fire from the public. After Jemima Harrison’s documentary: "Pedigree Dogs Exposed", which has been presented during prime time on the BBC and which has ledto the cancellation of the broadcast of the largest breeding show in the world "Crufts", a wave of indignation swept over Europe. The Internet makes it all possible! You will certainly also remember the subsequently following German film: "Schäferhund Pflegefall? Vom Ende einer Deutschen Legende” (Shepherd Dog Nursing Case? The End of a German Legend) by Carsten Rau and Hauke Wendler - broadcastedon the ARD, which undoubtedly led to a further huge loss of image for the SV and the Shepherd Dog. The health of the Shepherd Dog is being questioned internationally in the strongest of terms and the Club has not put up any resistance whatsoever in the multi-media landscape of today. The film presented the following argument: "We’re talking about National Breed Warden Meyer, the one being accusedof corruption and abuse of his position." Despite the severe accusations as the ones mentioned in the Hammer Protocol, the Association has not considered it to be necessary to publish a strong denial. Quite the opposite! According to testimony in the film, one apparently has passed a vote of fullest confidence in the National Breed

Warden and sent him out to judge yet even more SiegerShows (World exhibitions). Our researches however indicate, that the SV itself would currently be conducting, allegedly since 2003, a separate, internal investigation against Mr. Meyer, and would have gained insight into the official files of the tax investigation of the city of Kassel. It is unclear how this could be brought in line with the definition: "the fullest of confidence". In this case, oneshould at least have edged the honorable judge aside on a non-active position, and one should have informed the members on the progress of the investigations in accordance with the usual practices of the press.
