Argumentative essay against the use pesticides and fertilizers

A very important meal for humans is fruits and vegetables. It is an important meal on the food pyramid and isrecommending that we eat at least five servings of each every day. Sometimes we don’t have fresh fruits and vegetable around. For that reason we always go to the market to get our fruits andvegetables. We think that the market fruit are the most freshest and healthy. We don’t know how farmers cultivate those meals. The problem is that the use the help of some pesticides and fertilizers for thegrown acceleration of those meals and no pesticide is considered safe and they interrupts they natural grown and nutritional value.
The first reason, pesticides include insecticides, herbicides andfungicides, which kill insects, weeds, and harmful to humans. Synthetic pesticides are chemical compound; some are more toxic than the original pesticides when they break down in the environment. Someare called persistent materials just hand around and don’t break down for long periods of time. The second reason, as an ingredient in fertilizer, nitrogen helps to feed some 2 billion people. But whenit is washed from soils into water courses it can make rivers and lakes too rich in nutrients. As a result, algae and other life can grow out of control, eventually stripping oxygen from the waterwhich fish and other aquatic life need. Dead zones have already begun to appear, notably in the Gulf of Mexico, which is fed by nitrogen-rich water from the Mississippi river.
In conclusion,pesticides and fertilizers are poisons, designed to kill living things. Farmers have switched to organic growing methods with the support of consumers that are conscious of protecting their bodies and nature.Increasing concerns about safety and the fact that most processed foods contain genetically modified products is causing organic to rise in popularity.
