Euthanasia

INTRODUCCION

Euthanasia as we have known is a procedure in which you have to decide if you want to keep the life of someone that is dying, with no salvation and a lot of pain, or you want him to die and rest in peace.
The main problem of the Euthanasia in Society is that the religion absolutely forbids its realization, because the only thing in the world that can decide thedestiny of someone’s life is God.

In our opinion, no matter who we would rather practice it, because if you know someone is in pain and you let him suffer, and die in shame and in the worst of the feelings you are being selfish of letting him live just because you don’t want him to die. People has to take care of its practicing, is not something you just do, you have to analyze very carefully thepatients situation, because you could be mistaken, it could even affect you in psychological ways, and also count with his volunteer of being disconnected.

We have never known about a case of this magnitude between my family, we just talked to Manuel’s parents about it, they both are Doctors, and they said they are agree with this practice, but taking in care some allowances, Like the gravity ofthe disease the volunteer of the patient, or if he is not able to respond, like a person in a vegetative state that their relatives do for him.

Now that we brought the example of a person in vegetative state we have realized that the choice is not that easy, because in these conditions you don’t know what this person could want, a lot of people are really very sticked to their lives, and theywant to do everything that is possible to steel alive.

We think Euthanasia is not disobey god, yes you’re taking a live, but is into good purposes, looking the problem from religious position It can be good too, because god told us to help the needy, an also gave each person the free will, that allows you to do anything but then you have to handle with its consequences, so if you can’t doanything else for someone in pain, what could be better than relieve him form it?

EUTHANASIA

The origin of the word Euthanasia comes from the Greek language, Eu: means good or noble and thanasia: means death. It is possible to infer that the Greek culture considered this practice as a good thing. Nowadays, it is a theme that causes a lot of controversy due to the evolution of the human society.Life is considered much more than a treasure for humanity, it is something that must be defended and it is a right for everyone. It is clear that for a lot of people is difficult to acquire a concrete point of view towards this topic, but it is knew that as time pass, it’s possible that it becomes part of our lives: the possibility to decide by yourself whether you want to die or not to reliefsuffer and/or pain.

Euthanasia is not suicide. For it to be considered euthanasia, the person that dies must have had a very bad life quality, without being able to live with dignity. It is about finishing the suffering of an individual that could have never improved his life quality. In a lot of countries, Euthanasia is illegal, along with any other kind of assisted suicide. In the Netherlands,where they have a more liberal point of view towards death, there are euthanasia hospitals where people can go and have a pacific death where they can stop their suffering. The fact that euthanasia is legal in the Netherlands has caused a high flow of immigrants that go there looking for a place to finish their pain. Only if it is voluntary, it is considered euthanasia, if it is not voluntary itis c considered homicide.

We can find another problem involved with the euthanasia dilemma, in order to practice it; you must be assisted by a professional, in this case, a doctor. Nowadays, doctors don’t do it as much as before, the still do the “Hippocratic Oath”:
