GENERAL GOAL: To talk about different situations in past, present and future.

• To recognize 1st, 2nd and 3rd conditionals

• To narrate events in the present and in the past.

• To ask for and giveinformation.


1. First conditional
We use the first conditional to talk about situations that are possible or likely to happen.
• If he finishes his homework, he’ll go to the cinema.
• If you give me some money, I'll pay you back tomorrow.
• If they tell us they want it, we'll have to give it to them.
• If Mary comes, she'll want to drive.“________________________________________________________________________”

2. Complete the sentences: 1st conditional.

We use the second conditional to talk about situations which are imaginary or unlikely to happen.

• If I had millions dollars, I'd give a lot to charity.
• If there were no hungry people in this world, it would be a much better place.
• If everyone hadclean water to drink, there would be a lot less disease.

• If we hadplayed a little better, we could have won the game.
• If you had saved your money, you could have bought a computer.
