Names and their origins
The proper names has been used in ours societies since the beginning of time, they are not only use for humansbut they can also be use to name components of the nature: Rivers, lakes, oceans, seas; to name an specific piece of land: counties, cities, states, countries, planets, other territories and so on; toname other way of socials organizations: tribes, civilizations, movements and other groups of peoples.
According to oxfords English dictionary a name is a “word or set of word by which a person,animal, place, or thing is know addressed’’, or referred to. A golden rule specifically for proper name is that they always begin whit capital letters no matter where is located in a sentences.A specific proper name can be found in many different languages, but the difference between the one from the other is the way is spelled, written and pronounced e.g. the English name Louis also iswritten the same in Gallic language but it sounds differently in Spanish it will be Luis; in Italian will be Luigi; even though they look and pronounce dissimilar they are the same noun.
The nameJorge is the Spanish and Portuguese version of the name George; it is compose of three consonants and two vowels; form this name you can obtain nicknames like Jorgito or Koke. Overall nicknames comefrom the person trying to name him or herself when they are babies or from family member as a lovely and affective way.
The way that I obtain this name was because a family tradition startingin the late 50’s when my great grandfather named his son after his grandfather, so my grandfather had his grandfather‘s name, that tradition continued over the years. In addition in order to keep thetradition I am supposed to name my first born after either my father or my mother name depending the sex of the baby.
