Duck breast with cherry sauce

" 2 duck breasts (you can also use chicken breasts)
" 3 ounces of butter
" Fresh thyme
" Garlic
" Onion
" Salt and pepper to pleasure
For the sauce:
" Olive oil
" chopped 2 onion (shallots)
" 1 cup of cherries without seed
" 2 spoonfuls of butter
" 1 cup of port wine
" Salt
" 1 spoonful of sugar

Makesome cuts to the skin of the duck and it fries lightly the breasts to half temperature in a pan with olive oil. It seasons with salt and pepper for both sides. He adds the butter, the thyme, the garlic,the onion and he allows to cook 3 or 4 minutes. Give turn to the breasts and sack of the fire so that they cool down a little. Short in slices and it serves in a plate with the cherry sauce for above.Of the sauce: In a pan with olive oil, it fries lightly the onion until it is crystalline. Put the cherries so that they loose their own sugar. He adds the sugar and the wine and it allows torest. He adds the butter so that the sauce thickens a little and to give him flavor. It allows to conserve to low fire so that he/she decreases. When the sauce has consistency, pour it on the duck. He/sheadorns the plate with some cherries.

Chicken and Mushrooms
4 boneless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1clove of garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon leaf thyme, crumbled
1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary, crumbled
1/3 cup half-and-half
salt and pepper to taste
hot cooked noodles

Directions forchicken with mushrooms
In a large covered skillet, brown chicken in butter or margarine; remove to a plate and keep warm. Add mushrooms to skillet; sauté until golden. Stir in soup, garlic, thyme, androsemary. Return chicken to skillet. Cover and cook over low heat 30 to 40 minutes, stirring now and then. Blend in half-and-half; heat slowly. Taste and adjust chicken and mushrooms seasoning,...
