ESTANDAR IEEE 802.X
The IEEE 802.11 standard defines the use of the two lower layers of the OSI architecture (physical layer and data link), specifying its rules of operation in a WLAN. The 802.xprotocols define the technology branch of local area networks and metropolitan area networks. Wireless N or 802.11n: Currently most products are specification bog, but has been ratified 802.11n standardthat raises the theoretical limit to 600 Mbps There are already several products that meet the standard N up to 300 Mbps (80-100 stable). 802.11n makes use of both bands simultaneously, 2.4 Ghz and5.4 Ghz. The networks that operate under the 802.11b and 802.11g standards, following the recent ratification of the standard, start to produce in bulk and is the subject of promotion of ADSLoperators, so that the mass of that technology seems to be underway. All versions of 802.11xx, provide the advantage of being compatible with each other, so that the user does not need anything more than yourintegrated wireless adapter, to connect to the network. No doubt this is the main advantage that distinguishes wifi other proprietary technologies such as LTE, UMTS and Wimax, the three technologiesmentioned above, are only available to users by subscribing to the services of an operator who is authorized to use radio spectrum by national award. Most manufacturers and incorporated into theirproduction lines 802.11n wireless equipment for this reason the offer ADSL, and usually accompanied by 802.11n wifi, new in the home user market.
ESTANDAR IEEE 802.X
