THE SEVEN WONDERS OF THE ANCIENT WORLD
1. The Great Pyramid of Giza:
The Great Pyramid of Giza on the outskirts of Cairo, in Egypt, is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the World and the only one that still exists, as well as being the largest of the pyramids of Egypt. The architect of this work was Hemiunu.

2. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon:
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon situatedon the banks of the Euphrates River. Are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and were built in the sixth century a.C. during the reign of Nebuchadnezzar II in the city of Babylon.

3. The Temple of Artemis:

4. The Statue of Zeus at Olympia:

The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus located in the Greek city of Halicarnassus, now Bodrum (Turkey), was a monumental white marble tomb, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Colossus of Rhodes was a huge statue of the Greek god Helios, created by sculptor Chares of Lindos on the island of Rhodes (Greece) in 292 a.C. and destroyed by an earthquake in 226 a.C. It is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. The statue (made with bronze plaques on an iron frame) represented theGreek sun god, Helios.

7. The Lighthouse of Alexandria:
The Lighthouse of Alexandria was a tower built in the third century. C. (between 285 and 247 a.C) on the island of Faro in Alexandria, Egypt, to serve as a reference point and as a beacon port. With an estimated height between 115 and 150 meters (383-450 feet) was one of the man-made structures for centuries higher.

1. Chichén Itzá :
Chichén Itza is one of the major archaeological sites of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, and renamed important vestige of the Mayan civilization, the main buildings that remain there correspond to the period of the decline of the Mayan culture known to archaeologists as Post classic period.

2. The Roman Coliseum:
The Coliseum is an amphitheater ofthe Roman Empire period, built in the first century in the city center of Rome. In ancient times had a capacity for 50,000 spectators, with eighty rows gradas. In the Coliseum were held gladiator fights and public spectacles.
