ROBERTO GÓMEZ BOLAÑOS
Roberto Gómez Bolaños born in Mexico City on 21 February 1929, better known as Chespirito, is a comedian, songwriter, playwright, poet, writer, director and producer ofMexican television, founder of El Chavo and El Chapulin Colorado.
Son of a bilingual secretary Elsa Bolaños Cacho and painter, cartoonist and illustrator Francisco Gómez Linares, Roberto was the secondof three brothers (Francisco and Horatio were the other two). Before becoming an actor, was a boxer beginner. He also made much of the engineering career in the National Autonomous University ofMexico, but never graduated, and practiced law. Married since 2004 with Florinda Meza who played Donna Florinda in Chavo del Ocho, after a long love affair
He began his career as an advertisingcreative, which connected it with radio and television, which was during the 1950's, a very active writer. He also made several film scripts for the duo Chip and Capulina and briefly as an actor began withthem spoiled two servants in 1960. However, he continued to devote most of his time to writing, contributing to screenplays dialogues and programs for Mexican television.
Chespirito her professionalname, is due to film director Agustín P. Delgado, derived from the diminutive of the pronunciation of the name William Shakespeare Hispanicized, due to the stature of José Saramago and the talent ofthis to write stories that resembled those of Shakespeare.
Between 1960 and 1965, wrote scripts for the two most watched programs on Mexican television: Comedians and Songs and The Study of PedroVargas, Mexican Telesistema chain.
In 1968, the Independent Television began broadcasting in Mexico and as a writer Chespirito was called with the offer to use at will half hour weekly to youroffice. Thus were born the super-genius of the Square Table and acting career.
In 1970, they extended their hours at a time and your own program. The same was called and was born Chespirito Chapulin...
