Opening: Hi! How are you today! You know school is starting the next week, so
Do you like school? Why? Why not? Do you like exams?Why? Why not?
Do you consider yourself as a good student? Why? Why not?
WARM UP
Procedure: L’s will work in pairs asking and answering some questions.
Material: Work book. HANDOUT # 1Timing: 4 minutes
Transition: I heard that you enjoy studying and getting good grades, so it’s very nice to know that you really like school, that’s why we are going to review some vocabulary to go aheadwith this class.
PRE-LISTENING I (Lexical)
Procedure: L’s will match each picture and word with their meaning. Then, they will compare their answers with a partner.

Procedure: L’s will ranksome study tips according to their personal preference and they have to compare their answers with their partner.

Transition: O.K.well done! Now, we will listen to a conversation between 2 friends, where one of them needs help to get some study tips for his final exams. Look at the visual; what do you think they are saying? Tellto your partner.
WHILE-LISTENING
Procedure: L’s will listen to a conversation and order it. Then, they will compare with a partner, practice the conversation with the recording line by line,and after that, the teacher will explain to the learners the “look up and say technique” to practice it with a partner.
