Mitt Romney had two positive outlets when introducing himself to the American public: his business career and his faith. He spoke not at any great length - or in the kind of terms that could have helped his chances.Let's start with Romney's Mormon faith. It was no secret that many within Romneyworld seen that was a Mormon as one of the main reasons why his campaign never caught on among social conservatives in places like Iowa and South Carolina in 2008.
And so, to enter the race of 2012, it was clear from early on that Romney would not talk extensively (or really anything) about his Mormonism. Romneyavoided talking about his faith, even in environments overtly religious, in his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, Romney gave his only mention faith.
