[pic]1. My inventor invented the Lego. This was Innovative because he used to make toys and with the knowledge he had from making wooden bricks and designingminiature houses, he made colorful plastic bricks with and arranged gridded pattern to let them come together and not fall apart, called ‘Lego’, which in Danish words means “play well”(mit.edu andWhoguides.com).
2. Some Variables my inventor would have had to manipulate the amount of studs needed on the lego and how big the studs are so that the lego’s can stick to one another and not come apart. Hemight has also had to manipulate the material used, at first he would use wooden bricks and then when he got the plastic extruding machine, the bricks were made of plastic. Lastly Christiansen wouldhave had to manipulate a good size for the lego to be so that young children wouldn’t eat it, but instead realize that it is a toy and play with it.

4. The two main forces that I foundthat apply to a Lego, if first applied force. Applied force is applied to the legos, because to build something with a lego, you must apply force to it with another lego, and/or with your own force. The force is excerted on the lego by the person or by another lego. The other force applied is Normal force, because when you finish you Lego piece, and put it on a table the lego’s push down will thetable pushes with an upward force.(physicsclassroom.com)
5. Christiansen’s factory burned down in 1944, but once it was up and running again, it was dedicated to inventing toys. One of the mostsuccessful in Denmark is the ‘Automatic binding bricks’ made of wood, but after buying a plastic machine the ‘Automatic Binding bricks’ not only were popular with kids in Denmark but also all over theworld (Web.mit.edu and lego.wikia.com). He applied his ingenuity in this project, because he didn’t only create this toy, he created so many different kinds of toys that it would be hard to categorize...
