Starting From Scratch (Wes Moss)

The first impression that I had when I saw the book “Starting From Scratch” was not very good, but it sounded a little bit interesting. When I started reading thebook I began to feel a change in me; while I was reading the book it was getting more and more interesting. I consider that it was worth every hour, minute and second that I spent reading the book.Nowadays many people are sick to their stomachs worrying that their hard work will not provide them and their families the income they need to live the life they dream having. But the author of the bookWes Moss identified four steps that led to extreme entrepreneurial success, called the “art of the HUNT”. The steps are: harness what you have, underestimate your obstacles, notice your network andtake the next step.

In the fist step harness what you have, people have to indentify their skills, and figure out something tangible that they love or trade they are proud to be associated with.There is nothing better than working while you love what you do. There are many different approaches to harnessing what people have, but the one that I found most interesting on this step isconfidence. The case of David Helfrich was very interesting and a little bit funny, because he hated to wash his own clothes, he said that he could do anything like cooking, cleaning, but he hated to dolaundry. David loved making money. He was always looking for ways to make money. The funny part is that I hated a lot making laundry, but his love for the money was bigger than the hate for doing laundry,so he started a business of washing clothes. David was learning what the author called the art of HUNT. He was doing what ever it takes for the simple fact of doing what he loved.
