Aastra Technologies.

Based on the charts provided by yahoo and with some research and experience in the subject I saw that Aastra Tech started with someproblems mainly because the TCP/IP protocols and internet velocity were limited and the Y2K paranoia was another bad point to all computer based technologies. Starting 2002Aastra began to take advantage over competitors by a simple reason: They improved the VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) codec’s with IAX Standard making easier the datatransfer. 2009 was a bad year because some VoIP services such as Skype or Jingle gave the user a more graphical environment so its use was simpler. Nowadays Aastra is takingadvantage over other competitors because they’re offering new and with improved quality products.


Aastra Technologies is somewhat stable due some of the following reasons.1. Aastra doesn’t have many competitors around the world regarding the products they offer.
2. Aastra hardware is designed to be compatible with almost every business phonesystems like Fonality or TalkSwitch.
3. Aastra applications like SIP or DECT phones work efficiently.
The increasing TCP/IP solutions for companies give to Aastra newopportunities so the profitability is slowly increasing. Aastra Technologies growth may not be so amazing compared to other companies but in VoIP services Aastra is one of thebest options.
