**ONU
The United Nations Organization (UNO) is the largest existing international organization. It is defined as an association of global governance that facilitates cooperation on issues like international law, peace and international security, economic and social development, humanitarian affairs and human rights.

The UN was founded on October 24, 1945 in San Francisco (California) for 51countries after the Second World War with the signing of the United Nations Charter.

The UN is divided into various administrative bodies: General Assembly, Security Council, Economic and Social Council, General Secretariat, Trusteeship Council and the International Court of Justice. The main public figure of the UN is the Secretary General. The current is Ban Ki-moon of South Korea, who tookoffice on January 1, 2007, replacing Kofi Annan.

In 2007, the UN has 192 member states, virtually all internationally recognized sovereign countries. There are exceptions such as the Holy See, which has observer status, and Republic of China-Taiwan (a special case).

The European headquarters (and second world headquarters) of the United Nations Organization is in Geneva, Switzerland.The official UN languages are six: Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, French, English and Russian.

**(OEA)
The Organization of American States (OAS aka OEA) is an international organization of regional and main political forum for multilateral dialogue and decision-making Hemisphere. The organization works to strengthen international peace and security, consolidate democracy, promote humanrights, support the social and economic development and promote sustainable development in America. The OEA seeks to build stronger relations between the nations and people. Its acronym in English is the OAS (Organization of American States).

**UNESCO
The UNESCO acts for creating propitious conditions for a dialog between the civilizations, the cultures and the peoples founded on the respect ofthe common values.
 The mission of the UNESCO consists of contributing to the consolidation of the peace, the eradication of the poverty, the sustainable development and the intercultural dialog by means of the education, the sciences, the culture, the communication and the information.

**UNICEF
The General Assembly of the United Nations has entrusted to the UNICEF the mandate of promotingthe protection of the rights of the child, of helping to satisfy his basic needs and to increasing the opportunities that offer them in order that they reach fully his potentials. The UNICEF repeats that the survival, the protection and the development of the children are imperatives of development of universal character and form a part member of the progress of the humanity.

**UNIFEM
UNIFEM(part of UNO Women) is the bottom of the United Nations for the woman, dedicated to the advance of the women's rights and the equality of kind. It provides technical and financial assistance for programs and innovative strategies that promote the empoderamiento of the women. UNIFEM recovers his labor based on the belief of which every woman has the fundamental right to a free life ofdiscrimination and violence, and that the equality of kind is uninsignificant for the development and the establishment of just companies. Founded in 1976.
