Anne + The Shamrock
Anne + The Shamrock is a Venezuelan Indie Rock band founded in 2012 in Maracaibo. Anne + The Shamrock consists of vocalist Anne Valbuena , bassist Christopher Leon ,guitarist Genesis Gonzalez and drummer Mario Vargas.
Anne (Vocalist) the youngest of the band was born in 1993, by the age of 16 she tried to be part of the T.V. show “American Idol” but, Simon said NOimmediately after she arrived to the audition wearing a chicken costume without giving her the opportunity her voice talent.
Christopher (Bassist) was born in 1991. Grew on a Christian home, he went toart school at the age of 6 and by the time he finished high school he got into a band called “The New Fresh Reborn” he had to leave after some alcohol problems because he was affecting the band. Next helooked for help on a Christian group where he became part of the church’s musicians.
Genesis (Guitarist) was born in 1994. Christopher’s cousin. She was raise by the same Christian principles andalso went to the art school, but after she finished, she went to college and learned everything she knows about music.
Common Story
Christopher wanted to make a band out of the one he had in thechurch.
Christopher’s cousin Genesis. She just had Finishes College. Christopher told her about the plan he had.
Genesis saw Anne singing at a Café.
Mario tried to burgle Christopher. Christopherwith such a good heart forgave him and helped, so he invited Mario to play for the band as the drummer.
* At first we had to practice in a garage.
* We were inviting to play at bars for free.* We didn’t have money to buy instruments.
* We looked for help from the Ministry of People’s Power for Culture (MPPC).
* We played at “La Estancia”
* A Manager saw us and loves it* He Singed us on his record company
* Which after disagreements issues between each other we had to reject his offer
* We got once again for help from the MPPC and with our savings and...
